EnviroPrint Sponsors Face The Challenge!

Australia is lucky to have some of the most beautiful and unique creatures in the world. All living things - plants and animals (including people), are part of a complex delicately balanced network called the biosphere. The removal of a single species can set off a chain reaction affecting many others. The full significance of extinction on the world is difficult to predict, but it affects us all. Extinction is no longer a "natural" process, most often it is a direct result of human activity. Every creature has a right to exist. Our challenge is to make sure they do.

For two months during July and August our Australian school children will be asked to participate in an educational nationwide competition. Please encourage your school to enter Save The Bilby Fund's Threatened Animals Crossword Competition.

Easter Bilby Ears at the Sydney Show

EnviroPrint's support of Save The Bilby Fund continues. This Easter through Planet Press EnviroPrint donation, we produced cut out Bilby Ears as a children's activity and give away at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Thankyou Erica and Tiffany, who helped by cutting out the ears for the eager kids to wear. (Pictured here with Frank "The Bilby Man" Manthey and Erica bilby).

Save the Bilby Fund's display which is shared by Featherdale Wildlife Park won Gold for their Heritage Lane exhibit and also The John Ross Award for Commercial Exhibit. The Sydney Show is a great way for people to see a live endangered bilby up close, as this opportunity is something that millions of Australians will unfortunately miss out on.

Planet Press EnviroPrint awarded Highly Commended for Waste Management in the Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Sustainable Cities Program 2008

EnviroPrint congratulates all of the entrants and in particular, we thank our personnel who work every day on our EnviroPrint projects. By actively working to minimise waste and maximise resource use - your efforts have been recognised again. The potential waste paper that is utilised, rather than being destined for recycling, saves trees, oil, electricity, water and landfill and has a direct impact on climate change.

Planet Press EnviroPrint awarded Highly Commended

Bankstown Council recognised the City's high achievers on Wednesday 12 December 2007 at the Bankstown City Industry and Export Awards. In 2007 a new category was introduced - ea2cc (early action to climate change). EnviroPrint entered our projects into this category and were recognised for our efforts with a Highly Commended. It was a priviledge to receive this award, and also rewarding to present a brief overview of our waste minimisation conservation initiative to the 150 attendees at the awards dinner.
